Cuir de Russie EDC

Cuir de Russie Eau de Cologne was created in 1892 and is inspired by the famous scent of Russian reindeer leather. The origin of this leather dates back to the shipwreck of a Danish brigantine in the eighteenth century. When the leather was recovered years later, it turned out to have developed a special and unique perfume.

This discovery inspired perfumers to translate the characteristic aroma of leather into perfume.

The fragrance opens fresh with citrus and aromatic herbs. Lavender and spices appear in the heart. The base combines warm woods and spices that reinforce the leathery signature.
