Created by master perfumer Robert Bienaimé, Mon Boudoir was originally launched in 1919. It was Queen Marie of Romania’s favourite perfume, which she wore until her death. To celebrate the centenary of its creation, the House of Houbigant has revived this inimitable fragrance.
The fragrance opens with a brilliant note of bergamot, accompanied by intriguing peppery notes. A heart of rose, geranium, ylang ylang and jasmine is enveloped by the velvety notes of iris and heliotrope. At the base, patchouli and sandalwood join the most imperial of ambers, warmed by benzoin and musk, embellished with Tahitian vanilla.
Top notes : Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Timur Pepper
Heart notes : Geranium, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine, Heliotrope, Iris, Ylang Ylang
Base notes : Patchouli, Sandalwood, Benzoin, Vanilla Tahitian, Ambre Gris, Musk
