ALTAIA (short for A Long Time Ago In Argentina) is a perfume house born from an extraordinary love story that spans generations. In the nineteenth century, the paths of two influential families, Mitre and Morrison, crossed in Argentina. More than 140 years later, their descendants, Marina Sersale and Sebastián Alvarez Murena, met in Italy and fell in love.

The two fell in love and married. In 2004, they joined forces to create Eau d'Italie , an exclusive perfume line inspired by Positano and their favorite places in Italy.

What began as a personal story in 2012 has grown into an olfactory tribute to their shared history. With ALTAIA, they translate past and present into unique Eau de Parfums, created by master perfumers with a distinctly contemporary signature. Each fragrance subtly evokes memories, encounters, and moments that connect their families.
