This nourishing lip balm is formulated with coconut oil and a smooth blend of plant-based ingredients, butters, and waxes that help protect your lips from drying out. Coconut oil has a moisturizing effect on your lips. The long-lasting moisturizing properties of coconut oil are combined with the nourishing properties of shea butter and beeswax. The lip balm is permanent, so no beeswax is used. Candelilla wax is slightly harder than beeswax, but softer and can be used perfectly as a plant-based (vegan) substitute for beeswax. Another unscented wax is Oryza Sativa Cera. This is extracted from rice bran. It works as a skin softener, especially for dry lips.
The lip balm also contains SPF 25, which protects lips from UVA and UVB rays. It also moisturizes and softens lips. Did you know that some lip balms contain additives such as synthetic dyes made from coal tar, paraffin for moisture retention, and artificial waxes? Research shows that some of these substances contain heavy metal salts, which are harmful to health and may even be carcinogenic.
Instructions for use : Apply your lip balm liberally to your lips and reapply your lip balm every two hours, especially when exposed to the sun.
