Perfumer - Alberto Morillas

Alberto Morillas, born in Seville in 1950, is one of the most influential perfumers in modern fragrance history. At the age of ten, he moved to Switzerland, where his creative interest was eventually sparked by an article about Jean Paul Guerlain. After training at the École des Beaux Arts in Geneva, he began his career in perfumery at Firmenich at the age of twenty. His big breakthrough came in 1975 with Must de Cartier, Cartier's first fragrance, with which he immediately made his mark on the industry.

Throughout his impressive career, Morillas created thousands of fragrances for international houses such as Caudalie, Acqua di Parma, Kenzo, Bvlgari, and Marc Jacobs. His style is characterized by clarity, elegance, and a strong Mediterranean signature, often built around citrus, white flowers, and transparent musk notes. In addition to his work for major fashion houses, he also founded his own brand, Mizensir, where he further explores his personal vision of perfumery.
