Jordi Fernández is a Spanish senior perfumer at Givaudan and is known for his powerful, modern, and versatile fragrance creations. Born and raised in Catalonia, he developed a fascination for perfumery at a young age, charting his own creative path as a self-taught perfumer outside traditional perfume schools. His vision of fragrance is strongly influenced by nature, travel, and emotional memories, from Mediterranean freshness to the warm depth of oud and incense from the Middle East.

After his initial years at Eurofragance, Jordi Fernández joined Givaudan in 2010, where he created fragrances for international houses such as Montblanc, Carolina Herrera, and Versace. He gained particular recognition for his expertise in oriental compositions and his ability to translate traditional influences into contemporary perfumes. His style effortlessly transitions between minimalist elegance and rich, sensual structures, as seen in Montblanc Explorer, which he co-developed with Antoine Maisondieu and Olivier Pescheux. With his artistic intuition and profound knowledge of raw materials, Jordi Fernández is one of the most respected perfumers of his generation.
