Julien Rasquinet is a French perfumer who approaches scent as a direct connection between emotion, memory, and imagination. From a young age, he found a creative outlet in art, theatre, and design, but it wasn't until after business school that he discovered his true calling thanks to master perfumer Pierre Bourdon. Bourdon immediately recognized his artistic sensitivity and took him under his wing, after which Julien underwent intensive training that shaped his vision of perfumery forever. He later also collaborated with Christine Nagel before embarking on his own independent creative path.

His style is characterized by emotional depth, intuitive compositions, and a strong narrative character. Julien draws inspiration from encounters, music, literature, and travels, translating scents into textures, colours, and memories. A significant turning point in his career was his discovery of oriental perfumery during his stay in the Middle East, where he became fascinated by the intensity, richness, and freedom of fragrance creation. Since 2023, Julien Rasquinet has been associated with CPL Aromas, where he continues to develop his artistic and instinctive approach to perfumery.
