Perfumer - Michel Almairac

Michel Almairac, born in Grasse in 1953, is one of the most respected master perfumers in modern perfumery. Educated at the prestigious perfumery school Roure Bertrand Dupont, he developed a style known for clarity, elegance, and refined simplicity. Throughout his career, he worked for renowned fragrance houses such as Takasago, Drom, and Robertet, creating iconic fragrances for houses like Dior, Gucci, Burberry, and Chloé.

His work is characterized by a minimalistic approach where each ingredient has a clear function within the composition. Creations such as Joop! Homme, Eau de Gucci, and Ambrette 9 demonstrate his talent for developing timeless fragrances with a strong and recognizable signature. Additionally, he played a significant role in the founding of Parle Moi de Parfum, the house of his son Benjamin Almairac, where he, as the exclusive perfumer, further develops his personal vision on fragrance.
