Nathalie Feisthauer is a French master perfumer who has been fascinated by scent since her youth. Her discovery of Yves Saint Laurent's Opium confirmed her calling to become a perfumer, after which, in 1983, she became the first student without a family background in perfumery to be admitted to the prestigious Roure perfume school in Grasse, now part of Givaudan. With her distinct personality and creative energy, she built an impressive international career, including in New York at Estée Lauder, where she was influenced by the dynamic and modern American perfume culture.
For over thirty years, Nathalie worked for leading houses such as Givaudan and Symrise, creating fragrances for both iconic luxury brands and artistic niche brands. Her style effortlessly navigates between elegance, emotion, and modernity, evident in creations for Hermès, Cartier, and Etat Libre d’Orange. Today, she works as an independent perfumer from her LABscent studio in Montmartre, where she composes for exclusive niche brands worldwide with complete creative freedom.
