Perfumer - Robert Bienaimé

Robert Bienaimé was a French perfumer and chemist who is considered one of the great innovators of classic French perfumery. Born in Paris in 1876, he began his career in the fragrance world at a young age, but his real breakthrough came around 1910 when he joined the prestigious house of Houbigant under the leadership of master perfumer Paul Parquet. This collaboration marked the beginning of an impressive body of work that would have a lasting influence on 20th-century perfumery.

At Houbigant, Bienaimé created iconic fragrances such as Quelques Fleurs, one of the first true bouquet perfumes in which multiple floral notes were harmoniously brought together. This revolutionary composition grew to become one of the house's most beloved classics. His style was characterized by elegance and an exceptional sense of balance between natural floral accords. In 1935, he founded his own house, Parfum de Bienaimé, further developing his personal vision of luxury perfumery. Robert Bienaimé remains a respected name in the history of haute perfumery to this day.
