Thierry Wasser, born in Switzerland in 1961, is one of the most influential master perfumers in the contemporary fragrance world. Growing up in a family with strong ties to the fragrance industry, he developed an early fascination with raw materials and scent composition. After his training at Charabot and further experience at Firmenich, he became a renowned perfumer before being appointed in-house perfumer for the iconic French house of Guerlain in 2008.
At Guerlain, Thierry Wasser gave a modern interpretation to the house's rich heritage with creations such as La Petite Robe Noire, Shalimar Parfum Initial, and Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic. His style is characterized by a refined balance between natural and synthetic ingredients, where tradition and innovation harmoniously converge.
