The fragrance opens with a lively composition of lemon, spearmint, rosemary, basil and petitgrain. These top notes immediately provide freshness, like the first breeze waiting through open shutters. The lemon provides sparkle, the mint and basil give a green, aromatic brightness, while rosemary and petitgrain provide the characteristic Mediterranean spiciness – spicy but never sharp, rather softly active.
At the heart of the fragrance we find lavender and mandarin leaf. Lavender gives rust, but not soporific – it is the calm, clean elegance of a freshly ironed shirt or a carefully tended garden. Mandarin leaf spoke a fresh green facet that perfectly balances the transition between citrus and wood.
