The Diptyque Maquis candle captures the essence of the Mediterranean scrubland known as 'maquis', bringing the scent of sun-drenched dry earth and aromatic plants into the home. This combination results in a woody and spicy scent reminiscent of the Mediterranean coastline.

Burning hours:
190 gr candle: ± 60 hours
To get the most out of your Diptyque candle, follow these burning instructions:

First Burn: Let the candle burn for at least 2 to 3 hours, so that the top layer becomes completely liquid. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn.

Wick Care: Trim the wick to approximately 3 to 5 mm before relighting the candle. This prevents smoke development and ensures a stable flame.

Limit burning time: Do not burn the candle for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating and uneven burning.

Extinguishing the flame: Use a candle snuffer or blow gently to minimize smoke and spatters.

Wax Restoration: If the wax has melted unevenly, you can let the candle burn until the top layer liquefies again.

Do not allow the candle to burn completely: Stop using when approximately 5mm of wax remains to prevent overheating the glass.
