Idylle EDP

Idylle is part of Guerlain's Les Légendaires fragrance collection. A collection of emblematic fragrances, composed for over a century by 5 generations of perfumers. These mythical pioneering perfumes form a unique perfume library, which the House of Guerlain strives to preserve.

In this combination of the sensuality of chypre and the intimate nuance of white musk with a bouquet of flowers (the symbol of a declaration of love), Thierry Wasser expresses the sensual and romantic idea of the idyll.

Idylle opens with a shower of flowers, a fresh and cheerful bouquet consisting of lily of the valley, peony, freesia and white lilac. A combination of jasmine and a 'communelle' of Bulgarian roses (a mix of different essence stocks) forms the core of the perfume. In the base, a chypre accord of patchouli and white musk provides a touch of sensuality.

The iconic "inverted heart" bottle, designed by Raymond Guerlain, is accented with graceful curls typical of Art Nouveau. The avant-garde heart-shaped cap evokes the delicate romance of this perfumery masterpiece.
