Luca Maffei belongs to a new generation of perfumers who effortlessly combine tradition and modernity. Born in Milan and raised amid the fragrant notes of his father's laboratory (himself a perfumer), he developed a fascination for the invisible language of aromas at a young age. After graduating from the perfumery school in Grasse, he founded his own creative house, Atelier Fragranze Milano .

Maffei's work is characterized by a striking spontaneity: he constructs his fragrances as emotions, not as formulas. His compositions for brands like Perris Monte Carlo / Portofino , Carthusia , and Trudon demonstrate his ability to create vibrant, layered perfumes that are both refined and intuitive. He enjoys working with natural raw materials (especially citrus, woods, and herbs), which he reinterprets with modern clarity. In each creation, he seeks a balance between freedom and structure, between Italian warmth and international elegance.
